2019 U.S. Championships Tickets & Information

From Jan. 22-27, Little Caesars Arena will host all junior and senior competitions and practices for the 2019 GEICO U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Below are a few FAQs to help you better understand the U.S. Championships and have the best possible experience attending competitions!

Can I bring my camera?

No Video Recording of any type is allowed during any portion of the competition.

Personal photography is allowed from the designated spectator seating area so as to not interfere with nor disrupt

(i) any portion of the event; (ii) event participants and their performance; (iii) the intended use of public areas; and/or (iv) the viewing ability of others. All photos taken during the event must be for personal use only.

Unauthorized commercial use, sale, or third party distribution of photos and videos from the event is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from U.S. Figure Skating. Violators are subject to immediate removal from the event and potentially held liable for any damage, or perceived damage, associated with the violation.

Prohibited Equipment: No Monopods, No Tripods, No Telephoto Lens greater than 6 inches or 200 mm. For the safety of the athletes, No Camera Flash is allowed during the event.

Can I attend practice at Little Caesars Arena?

Practice is open only for all-session ticket holders in the main rink at Little Caesars Arena. The secondary practice rink (BELFOR) is closed to the general public due to capacity issues. All-session ticket holders should bring their practice ticket to gain entrance. If you opted for mobile tickets, then you may present your mobile ticket as well.

Event Times

Doors at Little Caesars Arena are scheduled to open an hour before the start of the event but some sessions may open at alternate times. Please click here to see the schedule. . We strongly advise guests to arrive an hour prior to the start of the event to not miss a second of the show. Please reference the Event Schedule for times of each event.

Ticketing For Little Caesars Arena

Your ticket package includes an individual ticket to each event taking place at Little Caesars Arena (15 total sessions) and one practice pass with each All-Session ticket that will provide you entry to all open practice at the main rink at Little Caesars Arena. Practice at the secondary rink (BELFOR Training Center) is closed to the public.

Those with Hard Tickets, please use the physical tickets you received by mail to enter the arena.

Those with Mobile Tickets, please visit 313Presents.com/MyAccount from your mobile device to access your mobile tickets. Sign in with your email address and password. Note: This may be different than your Ticketmaster.com login information. Tap on the card of the event you are attending to view and manage your tickets. Tap “View Barcode” to display the QR code that you will present at the arena entrance. We encourage you to add your tickets to your mobile wallet before arriving to the arena to expedite the entry process.

Parking

You can now pre-purchase your parking spot at one of Olympia Development’s 32 lots and garages within The District Detroit. All pre-purchase rates are discounted below drive-up rates, providing savings of up to 25%. All locations are within a 10-minute walk of Little Caesars Arena. Guarantee your spot by booking online through ParkDistrictDetroit.com.

Parking re-entry is not allowed. After exiting, an additional parking pass must be purchased. Attending more than one US Figure Skating event per day? Grab a bite to eat in one of the arenas restaurants between competitions. This way you can save from having to pay for parking twice.

For your safety, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has prohibited right turns to be made from southbound Woodward Avenue onto the southbound I-75 service drive, Sproat Street and Henry Street. The suggested detour for the southbound I-75 service drive is the northbound I-75 service drive to the crossover at John R. Street. Guests can use Montcalm Street, Elizabeth Street or Adams Avenue to access Cass Avenue and adjacent parking.

Please Note: Parking options are based on availability and are subject to change. Olympia Development parking facilities open a minimum of three hours before the scheduled event and close two hours after the conclusion of the event unless otherwise posted.

Bag Policy

Little Caesars Arena prohibits items such as bags and briefcases larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″ from entering the arena. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted.

PORTAL Information

Little Caesars Arena uses a PORTAL system as the primary way for guests to locate their seats. PORTAL signage is located near the seating “portals” or passageways into the arena seating area. Each PORTAL provides a unique entry point that leads, in most instances, to two seating sections – one to the left and one to the right. Once you approach your PORTAL, you will see secondary section signage that indicates whether to go left or right. PORTAL numbers are included on most tickets. However, the Blue Cross Suites and Huntington Legends Club do not have PORTALS.

There are 82 PORTALS inside Little Caesars Arena:

  • PORTALS 1-20 are on the street level concourse
  • PORTALS 21-72 are on the upper concourse

Re-Entry Policy

For the comfort and safety of our guests, Little Caesars Arena and its surrounding areas are non-smoking and re-entry to the arena after exiting is not allowed.

The District Detroit Mobile App presented by XFINITY

The District Detroit Mobile App, which is available to download in the App Store and Google Play Store, is the go-to tool for guests visiting Little Caesars Arena and the surrounding area. To enhance your event experience, the app features mobile tickets and parking passes, an interactive 3D concourse map and wayfinding to find nearby restaurants and retail locations within The District Detroit.

The District Detroit XFINITY Wi-Fi

Little Caesars Arena has free public Wi-Fi access. Select “The District Detroit XFINITY” network to log on and start using the wireless connection.

Is public transportation available to Little Caesars Arena?

Ride the QLINE to the Sprout St./Adelaide St. Station (located in front of Little Caesars Arena).
